The LUFA and Employer teams met for two days on July 6 and 7. Negotiation protocols were agreed to, with both teams agreeing to increase the number of bargaining days. The LUFA team shared a comprehensive set of proposals and received the Employer’s proposals.
As well, LUFA will meet the employer this week on August 5 and 7. Last month, members turned out for a BBQ and Poster Day in support of our collective bargaining. That energy carries into these meetings. We go in with the full support of our members.
